Drew Bargholz, CFA, MBA
DBargholz@HHSearch.comDrew Bargholz is the managing director of Henderson Harbor's finance and accounting consulting practice. He focuses on providing clients with finance, accounting and operations professionals for special projects and interim needs, as a cost-effective alternative to using the Big 4 or boutique consulting firms.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Drew began his career at Arthur Andersen within its audit/business consulting area. He left Andersen to join Salomon Smith Barney in its investment banking group, focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions from both the buy and sell side. At Salomon, Drew's team was consistently ranked first in the company based on revenue and production.
Drew then moved to one of the world's largest technology law firms as director of finance and controller, wherein he assisted the firm internally with business strategy as well as traditional finance and accounting functions. He also worked closely with the firm's clients' C-level executives to provide guidance with regard to financial strategy, company structure, and obtaining various forms of financing.
Drew was recruited into Robert Half International in 2003, where he was consistently ranked as one of the top producers in the world in its Management Resources division. He started up the organization's Central New Jersey office, which became its second largest on the East Coast. He was recognized twice as Robert Half's "Top Division Director" globally and received several individual production awards.
Drew left Robert Half to assist a start-up of the $6 billion privately held staffing firm Stephen James Associates (an Aerotek company) in developing its finance, accounting and technology consulting practice in the Northeast. He grew this group to be the largest in the firm, but a change in Aerotek's expansion strategy and Drew's desire to stay in an entrepreneurial role inspired him to join Henderson Harbor in 2011.
Drew is also an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Army.
